The Zoo would like to officially launch the Zooperfly Hip Hop group, by entering the Senior Hip Hop division atthe FUTURE CHEER INTERNATIONAL CHEER & DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS on the 4th of July, and follow the steps of the already successful SCZ Cheerleaders.

To launch this fantastic new venture, The Zoo is happy to announce that:

1) ALL THOSE WISHING TO ATTEND AUDITIONS, can attend the masterclass FOR FREE!!!

All you need to do now is RSVP to our Facebook Event

2) All those wishing to take part in Zooperfly activities do not need to pay membership until September 2009!

BHF - Heart Runners Cheer Team

SCZ Cheerleaders (a.k.a. Heart Runners Cheer Team) were cheering for the UK's number one Heart charity, the British Heart foundation at the Flora London Marathon on Sunday the 26th of April.

SCZ Star in MTV Shoot

Yesterday a group of 5 SCZ Cheerleaders went to the MTV Studios in Camden town to star in some credit and advertising sequences for an MTV 'American Superstars' special weekend,

which will be airing in July.

At the shoot they were required to perform a routine complete with gymnastics and acrobatics, as well as filming some presenting and posing for photography shots.

The shoot was a great success, and Steph Withey, Channel Producer, says:

"We were looking for an idea that would work for a title sequence for some American themed programming we were producing, and my researcher Danny came across the cheerleading idea. Once searched, booked and briefed on what we needed, 'The Zoo' got to work on learning an appropriate routine and workout suitable for the filming required. When the filming day arrived, it went brilliantly and much better than I had anticipated. Jess, the manager was very approachable and helpful and the whole team gave us lots of options of what they were capable of and were very accommodating. The routine was fantastic as were their American accents and professionalism - I'd definitely work with The Zoo in the future - it was an ease and a pleasure working with them."

SCZ Cheer for TK Maxx & Comic Relief

SCZ performed for TK Maxx's Comic Relief fundraising stunt at the High Street Kensington store in London. First cheering for TK Maxx's staff fleet of fancy dressed bikers, performing bespoke chants and stunts. They then continued inside, lifting Gladiators, Nuns and Pink Ladies to form fun small pyramids, and waving their pompoms for a fantastic cause.

Lucy McGonigle from the TK Maxx Press office says: "I managed to snap up the girls from SCZ Cheerleaders at the eleventh hour to help us out for in-store fund-raising to drum up support for Comic Relief. The team came and put on a superb performance that attracted new customers to stop and take notice of the activity at TK Maxx. The stunts were jaw-droppingly superb and their bespoke cheers were magic! I would definitely recommend getting in touch with The Zoo to spice up your event"

The Zoo is proud to launch the company's official website, in order to centralise all of its services at one address. This website will provide all the information about our services, however the Richmond Dance and SCZ Cheerleaders will continue to be available and updated on a regular basis, to provide detailed information those with a more specific area of interest.
